The Outdoor Program Seminars

Greetings Scouts,

You are highly encouraged to attend a special Outdoor Program Seminar coming to three locations to better serve you! October 18 in Lawrenceville, October 25 in Athens, and October 27 in Gainesville – see schedule. Dinner will be provided at these three special events.  

We will also make presentations at the November 10 Roundtables in Cumming and Blue Ridge. See the schedule and directions below. The purpose of this program is to share information with you about the Outdoor Excitement available to your Scouts in Northeast Georgia. Topics will include:

• Year-round High Adventure weekends: Climbing, C.O.P.E. Whitewater Kayaking
• WinterFest
• Spring Break – The Challenge Mill
• ScoutBlast
• Summer, and Fall Aquatics Programs
• Exciting programs for 2012
• Summer Camps: Boy Scouts, N.Y.L.T., Ranger Camp
•  NEW and improved facilities at our camps
•  Great Escape
• National High Adventure Bases: Philmont, Northern Tier, Sea Base
•  National Jamboree 2013 – Scouts must be 12 and First Class by that time (they could be Webelos 2 now!)
• Order of the Arrow events
• Cub Scout 2012 Family Weekend, Day Camps, Fun with Son, and Adventure Camp!
